It’s that time of the year again! Global Game Jam is coming up and will take place 29th-31st January.
There are currently 4 sites registered in Scotland:
Abertay – http://globalgamejam.org/2016/jam-sites/abertay-university
GCU – http://globalgamejam.org/2016/jam-sites/scottish-game-jam-glasgow
Napier – http://globalgamejam.org/2016/jam-sites/edinburgh-napier-university
Linlithgow – http://globalgamejam.org/2016/jam-sites/linlithgow-gathering
The GCU and Napier sites are open to the public, while Linlithgow will be a closed site and the Abertay site will be students and invited industry guests only.
The Global Game Jam is a fantastic opportunity to come together, be creative, share experiences and have fun and we believe everyone should be able to join in! We are very excited to see four Scottish sites already registered and we want to help set up more! Whether a private site or a public one, big or small, we’re here to help. If you’re unsure but want to find out more, do still drop us a line.
If you know of a suitable venue and/or if you would like to find out more about what running a Game Jam site involves, then please visit the GGJ information page, get in touch with us at [email protected] or contact Brian McDonald directly at [email protected].
Jam site registration ends on the 2nd of January 2016 and late jam site registration ends on the 16th of January.
Hope to hear from you and see you at Global Game Jam next month!
